- COVID-19
December 7, 2020 | 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Central Time
In December 2020, Dean Rashid Bashir moderated a virtual discussion with expert Illinois faculty on how we adapted our learning and teaching methods during the pandemic as well as how we anticipate continuing to provide personalized education at scale next semester.
Our education experts included:
- Nancy Amato, Department Head for the Department of Computer Science
- Harry Dankowicz, Associate Dean for Graduate, Professional, and Online Programs
- Jay Mann, Director of the Academy for Excellence in Engineering Education (AE3)
- Jonathan Makela, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs
We were also joined by a special guest, Emily Roth, director of Engineering Open House 2021, who provided a sneak peek of how EOH is adapting to a virtual environment this spring.
