The Women in Engineering (WIE) Admitted Student Luncheon is an opportunity for admitted women students and their family members to engage with the college-level WIE Office and WIE Ambassadors during a special luncheon event as part of their UIUC campus visit. Congratulations on your admissions into Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign! We are excited to invite you to a two day program hosted by our student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and sponsored by the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Illinois AIChE is an Registered Student Organization that promotes both professional and personal development for chemical engineering undergraduates. This program will run on April 4th and 5th. In this program, admitted students and their parents will be able to learn about chemical engineering and the University of Illinois with a number of opportunities such as talking to current students and professors, touring different campus buildings, attending lectures, seeing both academic and research labs, and more! 

Programming will start at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 4th and end at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 5th. You can choose to attend one or both days but both days are recommended for a comprehensive experience. Both days will have unique experiences for students and parents alike. Spots are limited so make sure to register ASAP and to beat the registration deadline of March 17th, 2025.

**We are unable to provide housing or transportation. Lunch will be provided for students only Friday in the dining hall; parents/guest are welcomed to eat in dining hall via self pay with a credit or debit card. All parent meals and all other meals will not be provided. **

Congratulations on your admissions into Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign! We are excited to invite you to a two day program hosted by our student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and sponsored by the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Illinois AIChE is an Registered Student Organization that promotes both professional and personal development for chemical engineering undergraduates. This program will run on April 4th and 5th. In this program, admitted students and their parents will be able to learn about chemical engineering and the University of Illinois with a number of opportunities such as talking to current students and professors, touring different campus buildings, attending lectures, seeing both academic and research labs, and more! 

Programming will start at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 4th and end at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 5th. You can choose to attend one or both days but both days are recommended for a comprehensive experience. Both days will have unique experiences for students and parents alike. Spots are limited so make sure to register ASAP and to beat the registration deadline of March 17th, 2025.

**We are unable to provide housing or transportation. Lunch will be provided for students only Friday in the dining hall; parents/guest are welcomed to eat in dining hall via self pay with a credit or debit card. All parent meals and all other meals will not be provided. **

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites admitted high school students of The Grainger College of Engineering to our High School Visitation (HSV) program. This is a chance to explore engineering fields while experiencing NSBE’s unique sense of community and leadership.

Each semester, our dedicated team of volunteers plans HSV and outreach events designed to inspire, guide, and support the next generation of Black engineers. Through hands-on demonstrations, campus tours, and interactive panels, students gain an exciting look into the world of engineering and the impactful role they could play, at Illinois.

An exciting day of innovation and creativity for female high school students to gather for an engineering challenge. Upon arrival, students will be grouped into teams and presented with a thought-provoking challenge. Throughout the day, they will brainstorm ideas, design solutions, and bring their concepts to life. The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites students admitted into engineering majors at Illinois to our High School Visitation (HSV) program. This event will take place over the weekend of April 11th to April 13th and admitted students will have lodging near the UIUC campus. SHPE|UIUC will cover all travel, hotel accommodations, meals, and activities, making it an unforgettable and supportive step in your journey to becoming an engineer at Illinois.
