The College of Engineering's online graduate program has earned its first-ever top-10 ranking. U.S. News & World Report ranks the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign 9th on its listing of "Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs."

Engineering at Illinois' online program offers six master's degrees completely online, as well as professional certificates and single-course options for professional development.

In the past year, the Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering degree has become available online, and the Master of Engineering in Bioengineering degree program will admit its first online cohort for Fall 2017. More than 100 courses are available online each year, taught by the same world-class faculty as on-campus courses--ensuring the same level of rigor and quality that Engineering at Illinois' on-campus graduate students have experienced for decades.

With the online program now ranked No. 9, Engineering at Illinois now holds top-10 rankings in all three U.S. News & World Report higher education surveys--undergraduate (No. 6), graduate (No. 7), and online programs.
