At Urbana-Champaign's National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), Dr. Volodymyr Kindratenko, Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence Innovation, champions the Cerebras-powered HOLL-I supercomputer as the "crown jewel" of local machine learning capabilities. Concurrently, scientists at Argonne National Laboratory are utilizing the Cerebras CS-3 architecture via the ALCF AI Testbed to run complex cancer-drug response prediction models hundreds of times faster than conventional hardware.
