CEE's Parker wins Saudi water prize

ABC News (from The Associated Press; Nov. 2) – Saudi Arabia awarded eight scientists the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water at a ceremony at United Nations headquarters in New York on Wednesday. The “Surface Water Prize” went to Gary Parker, a professor of civil and environmental engineering at Illinois, for his work on meandering rivers.
