Chief Executive and Illinois alumna Therese Tucker (BS 1984, Computer Science/Math) rang the opening bell at Nasdaq on Friday before the Woodland Hills company debuted on the stock exchange. The Woodland Hills technology company Tucker founded and continues to run listed on Nasdaq as part of a $146-million initial public offering. BlackLine Inc. shares soared 39% to $23.70 in their debut from an issue price of $17, valuing the accounting software company at more than $1.1 billion.
