Bioscience (Aug. 24) -- A team from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign took second place in the National Institutes of Health Design by Biomedical Undergraduate Teams Challenge (DEBUT). The Illinois team was one of six teams of undergraduate engineering students who won the with devices aimed at improving health and targeting underserved communities.
