Glacier Hub (New York, March 10) -- A recent piece of biomedical researchhas drawn extensively from an unexpected source, glacial moraines. Illinois researchers, led by Min Kyung Lee, a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Taking a cue from nature, the researchers have created a new system to deliver micro-therapies with more precision, by controlling both the speed with which a drug is released and the spatial pattern it takes inside the body.
