Discovery News (Feb. 5) -- Tiny liquid-filled capsules could temporarily capture excess carbon dioxide from power plants or factories before it gets into the atmosphere. Developed by a team of scientists from Illinois, Lawrence Livermore National Lab and Harvard University, the microcapsules — just .5 mm in diameter — could help reduce the build up of an atmospheric gas that's at an all-time high.
