News-Gazette (March 23) -- EP Purification, a startup commercializing microplasma technology, was formed at the University of Illinois by J. Gary Eden and Sung-Jin Park. Eden and Park to use ozone purifying water and preserving food. Using microplasma technology, the company has developed tiny ozone generators that are more efficient than regular ozone generators.
