Course Description

This course is an introduction to the concepts, techniques, and systems of data warehousing and data mining, including (1) design and implementation of data warehouse and on-line analytical processing (OLAP) systems, and (2) data mining concepts, methods, systems, implementations, and applications.

Credit Hours

3 or 4 hours (CS certificate students must take this course for 4 hours).

Prerequisites

A course in data structures and software principles (such as CS 225).
