Course Description
This course covers the use of generative models for design synthesis and optimization. Topics covered include optimization theory and problem formulation, autoencoding deep neural architectures, as well as the testing and validation of generated design results via model-based simulation.

BS degree in engineering or science from an accredited college in the United States or an approved institution of higher learning abroad and AE 498 - Data-Driven Modeling and Optimization.
