Course Description

This course covers two-dimensional and finite wing theory with emphasis on the mechanisms of lift and drag generation; Reynolds number and Mach number effects; drag analysis; high-lift wing systems; propeller and rotor aerodynamics; control surface design; and application of V/STOL aerodynamics.

Prerequisites

BS degree in engineering or science from an accredited college in the United States or an approved institution of higher learning abroad and a course in Incompressible Flow (AE 311).
