Illinois Solar Decathlon Builds Home in Rantoul

This year, Illinois Solar Decathlon partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County to build a home where they hadn't before - Rantoul. The group engineered every aspect of the RENU-Home to be renewable, economical, nourishing and universal, as part of the Department of Energy-sponsored competition. Upon completion, the home will be given to a family in need.
