For his groundbreaking research, ECE ILLINOIS professor Joseph W Lyding, also a member of Beckman's Nanoelectronics and Nanomaterials Group, was recently awarded the Foresight Institute Feynman Prize for experimental work. The Foresight Institute is a leading think tank and public interest organization focused on transformative future technologies.
