Join our Engineering Student Admissions Representatives (ESTARs) for a 60-minute tour from the comfort of your home on ZOOM. You'll visit our two engineering quads and have the opportunity to see inside of our buildings and lab spaces.  You won't want to miss this session, its as close to the in person experience as you can get. Between buildings you'll have the opportunity to ask questions to our panel of current students and learn what it is like to be a Grainger Engineering student.  We highly recommend you register for and attend the Admissions Virtual Presentation prior to our event.

Shadow-An-Engineer offers newly admitted students the unique opportunity to experience life as an engineering student at UIUC. This program takes place in the spring following admissions decisions and pairs admitted students with current engineering students, allowing them to step into their shoes for the day. Participants will go to classes, attend club meetings, sit in on study sessions, and enjoy lunch with their hosts. It’s a firsthand look into the academic and social life that makes Grainger Engineering exceptional.

The Women in Engineering (WIE) "Ask Me Anything" Virtual Session is an opportunity for admitted women students to engage with WIE Ambassadors and other admitted students in small group breakout rooms over Zoom. WIE Ambassadors are current students from a variety of majors in The Grainger College of Engineering who will share their experiences and answer questions from a student perspective. Advanced registration is required to arrange the breakout rooms.

During these webinars, Grainger students present a slideshow that provides insight and guidance, making it a valuable resource for students who are not able to visit campus in-person.
