Shivam Tailor

My name is Shivam Tailor, and I am a senior majoring in Materials Science and Engineering with a minor in Technology and Management. On campus, I was President of Material Advantage, Lead ELA for the MatSE department, and Professional Development Chair of Engineering Council. Through all my involvements, I grew a tremendous amount as a leader, connector, and mentor. Additionally, I participated in two short-term study abroad opportunities - Italy with the ELA Program and South Africa with Hoeft T&M. After graduation, I will begin my professional career as a Yield Enhancement Engineer at Texas Instruments in Salt Lake City, UT. After gaining more industry experience, I plan to go back to school and pursue patent law. I am honored to be recognized by the college as a Knight of St. Patrick! I have my family, friends, and department to thank for pushing me to become the best version of myself. Lastly, thank you mom and dad for supporting and trusting every decision I made to get where I am today.
