Kira Martin

My name is Kira Martin. I am a senior majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. On campus I am very involved with the MSE department as the President of Keramos, a member and freshman mentor for Material Advantage, and a Teaching Assistant for MSE 307 and 308. I was also the captain of a student team who competed in the 2024 international TMS Bladesmithing competition. Additionally, I have been involved with undergraduate research for the past four years and I serve as an Undergraduate Research Ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Research. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, knitting, photography, and hiking. After graduation, I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University. I am honored to be a part of the 2024 Knights of St. Patrick class along so many other outstanding student leaders. I would like to thank my family, friends, and mentors who have always supported and believed in me.
