Liz Zhang

My name is Liz Zhang, and I’m currently a senior at UIUC. I’m majoring in Engineering Physics with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering, and I also have minors in Mathematics and Computational Science & Engineering (CSE). Outside of academics, I’m also the current president of the Society of Physics Students and the former vice president of the Society of Women in Physics. In addition to these, I’ve been a member of Engineering Ambassadors, iRobotics, and the Campus Honors Program. After graduation, I plan to obtain a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and continue working at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, where I interned as an undergraduate. I’m incredibly honored and excited to have been chosen for the Knights of St. Patrick, and from the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank all of my family, friends, and mentors who have supported me along the way!
