Ariya Patel

I am Ariya Patel, and I am a senior majoring in Industrial Engineering. On campus, I love being involved with Engineering Council and the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. I have also spent some time being an Engineering Learning Assistant and working as a mentor with Women in Engineering. I thrive on connecting communities and people on campus, aiming to enhance the experiences of others at UIUC. Outside of academic pursuits, I find joy in volunteering at the animal shelter, engaging in strategy games with friends, creating digital art, and picking up new novels. Upon graduation, I will be joining IBM as a Brand Technical Specialist in San Francisco, CA. I feel beyond honored to be a 2024 Knight of St. Patrick and could not be here without the love and support from my friends and family. I look forward to my final semester on campus!
