Mary Ehmann is a senior in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
Mary is currently the Co-Director for Engineering Open House 2023 after previously serving as theDirector of Advancements. Some of her other involvements include the Engineering Outreach Bureauand Engineering Council. Additionally, she works as a Student Ambassador for the School of ChemicalSciences career services office and as a course assistant for the Department of Chemical & BiomolecularEngineering. Further, Mary has also worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Zhao Lab forthe past two years where she has conducted research focusing on mRNA engineering and epigeneticsand is a co-author for two submitted manuscripts.
This summer Mary will be interning at 3M in the Research & Development focusing on environmentalhealth and safety. Starting next fall, she will be pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at MIT with afocus in synthetic biology and biotherapeutics.
