Course Description

Basic principles of chemical rocket propulsion and performance, rocket component design, liquid rockets, solid rocket motors, combustion processes, and combustion instability are covered in this course.

Prerequisites

BS degree in engineering or science from an accredited college in the United States or an approved institution of higher learning abroad and a course in Compressible Flow (AE 312) and Aerospace Propulsion (AE 433).
