Ryan Mullen
Biography
Ryan Mullen teaches Process Design (CHBE 431), assists with cross-curricular design, and develops courses that leverage his expertise in process control and computation/data science. Mullen is also committed to STEM outreach.
Mullen earned his doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and brings a strong academic background in statistical mechanics, rare-events theory, and molecular simulation. Formerly, he worked as a staff scientist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and a reservoir engineer for ExxonMobil.
