Hannah Rockwell

Hannah Rockwell is a senior in Agricultural and Biological Engineering with a minor in Sustainability, Energy, and the Environment.
Hannah is an active member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, where she has served as Engineering Council Representative, Secretary, Social Chair, and President. Last semester, she was a Head Engineering Learning Assistant after serving as the Lead ELA for ABE during her sophomore year. She was also a Programs Assistant for the Women In Engineering program.
Beyond her involvement in the Grainger community, Hannah is passionate about sustainable agriculture and conducts research on photosynthetic efficiency. She has worked in the Leonelli lab at the Institute for Genomic Biology for seven semesters and completed an REU at Cornell University in the Stern lab. In addition, Hannah is a member of the Illini Women’s Lacrosse Club team and Alpha Delta Pi.
