Course Description
Boundary layer concept at high Reynolds numbers; self-similar solutions of incompressible and compressible boundary layers; stability of parallel and nearly-parallel wall-bounded viscous flows; transition to turbulence; turbulent boundary layers; high-speed boundary layers; strong Reynolds analogy; and Morkovin's hypothesis are covered in this course.

BS degree in engineering or science from an accredited college in the United States or an approved institution of higher learning abroad and a course in Viscous Flow & Heat Transfer (AE 412).
